How to get to Biohotel Gitschberg (Meransen, South Tyrol)

If you are travelling by train, we recommend getting off at Mühlbach (Rio di Pusteria) or Franzensfeste (Fortezza) railway station and taking advantage of our free transfer service.

Take the A22 Brenner motorway, exit at Brixen, and head towards Bruneck until you reach Mühlbach (Rio di Pusteria). In the village centre, turn left towards Meransen (Maranza). Biohotel Gitschberg is situated in a quiet location to the east of the village centre, at the foot of Mt. Gitschberg, 300 metres from the valley station of the Gitschberg cable car.

Coming from Lienz, follow the Pustertaler road SS49 in the direction of Brixen to the village centre of Mühlbach (Rio di Pusteria), then turn right towards Meransen (Maranza). Biohotel Gitschberg is situated in a quiet location to the east of the village centre, at the foot of Mt. Gitschberg, 300 metres from the valley station of the Gitschberg cable car.

For guests travelling by electric car we offer four garage spaces with their own charging stations, which we recommend reserving at the time of booking. The charging fee is €0.50 per kWh.
