Holiday Weather in South Tyrol

Southerly currents will carry very humid air masses towards the Alps. In the evening, the current turns to the north. Clouds and rain will often obstruct visibility on the mountains. The snow line will drop from 3000 m to around 2500 m; in the north it may snow down to 2000 metres. The precipitation will subside from the west during the afternoon.

Rising air pressure and dry air masses will ensure a significant improvement in the weather. Widespread sunshine on the mountains, partly denser clouds directly on the main Alpine ridge. Otherwise, visibility will be very good and the cumuliform clouds in the afternoon will remain mostly harmless.
